Marketing Manager (f/m/d)
Company description
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to own the entire US marketing mix across CRM, SEO, paid search, paid social, affiliate, display as a single accountable owner, not a specialist in one channel.
You operate horizontally, end to end, for one shop: House of Lamps US. You decide where budget goes, you execute or direct execution, and you're judged on the growth and P&L outcome.
You'll work closely with our US General Manager (who runs 3PL, ops, and local coordination) and with our german-based teams in Marketing, Tech, Product, Sourcing, and Demand/Order Management.
Job description
- Full-funnel marketing strategy and execution for houseoflamps.com
- Budget allocation and prioritization across SEO, SEA, social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest — paid, influencer, UGC), display, affiliate, and CRM (Klaviyo)
- Attribution and performance reporting using our existing stack (Shopify, Klaviyo, Klar), connected to financial performance (contribution margin, CAC/LTV, P&L impact) rather than channel metrics alone
- End-to-end ownership from strategy to creating and setting up ads and growth systems
- Owning the creative direction, briefing, and output of ad creative, content, and campaign assets across all channels - either hands-on with AI help or by directing freelancers/agencies/internal teams
- Direct coordination with the US GM on inventory, launch timing, and market intelligence
- Escalation and consultation with German channel leads on complex, channel-specific problems
Qualifications
- 5+ years in ecommerce marketing, with demonstrated ownership of full-funnel budget and strategy, not just single-channel execution
- Track record of scaling a DTC ecommerce brand in a competitive US market, ideally in a lean or founder-led environment
- Working experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and a marketing attribution tool (Klar or comparable)
- Amazon Advertising and Walmart Connect experience is a plus
- Comfortable being the strategist and the operator at the same time
- Data-literate: able to read attribution, cohort and commercial data and make budget calls from it, not just report metrics
- Hands-on social media expertise across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest — platform mechanics, ad formats, and creative trends, not just budget allocation
- Commercially literate: able to connect marketing performance to financial outcomes and make budget decisions on that basis, not just report channel metrics
- Bonus: experience in launching a brand from zero
Your Benefits
- Stable and exciting position within a profitable scale-up company
- Hybrid working model out of one of our offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf or Fulda with remote work from home
- Various benefits, including free fruit and beverages, team and after-work events, as well as digital networking opportunities
- Sports allowance to support your hobbies, because the health and well-being of our team matter to us
- Attractive employee discounts across our entire product range
- Numerous learning and development opportunities, both within and outside our organization
