We are now looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer (f/m/d) as part of our genuine and ambitious tech team.
Where your expertise is needed
- Ensure stable, secure, and scalable operation of the group-wide platform infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP/AWS)
- Provide, operate, and improve shared platform services such as CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and deployment tooling
- Enable a high-quality developer experience through workflow standardization, automation, and tooling
- Promote infrastructure-as-code and platform automation to reduce manual effort and increase reliability
- Ensure observability and operability of all platform components through structured monitoring and alerting
- Continuously track cloud infrastructure spending, identify cost optimization opportunities, and implement measures to improve cost efficiency without compromising platform reliability or performance
- Work with your team of DevOps Engineers with a focus on enablement, service orientation, and operational excellence
Qualifications
What will help you to master future challenges
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native and DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP, Prometheus, Jenkins, SonarQube) and hands-on experience with caching infrastructure (Varnish, CDN)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python) for automation and tooling purposes
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive platform enablement through automation and standardization
- University degree in Computer Science, or relevant experience in the field
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
